The only Pancafit studio in the United States.
Pancafit is a clinically developed postural re-education method from Italy. I'm the only practitioner offering it in the country — one-on-one, inside a licensed physical therapy practice, with 10 years of hands-on experience behind every session. If you've been told your posture is unfixable, your scoliosis is just something to manage, or your chronic tension has no real solution, this is worth your attention.

What Is Pancafit?
Pancafit is a global postural re-education method developed in Italy. It works on the idea that the body's muscles and fascia — the connective tissue that runs through everything — function as a continuous chain, not as isolated parts. When one section of that chain is shortened or restricted, it pulls on everything connected to it. That's why your lower back hurts even though the problem started at your hips. That's why stretching your hamstrings never seems to hold.
A Pancafit session uses a specialized stretching table to position your body in ways that address the entire muscular chain at once. The table isn't a prop — it's what makes the method possible. It allows precise, sustained positioning that passive stretching or yoga simply can't replicate. The work is slow, deliberate, and guided by me throughout.

The Only Pancafit Studio in the United States
This isn't a marketing angle. Physica Medica is the only Pancafit studio in the United States. The method is well-established in Europe — widely used in Italy, Spain, and across South America — but it hasn't reached the U.S. market. I trained directly in the method and brought it here. Patients have traveled from outside Baltimore specifically to access it. If you're not local, that's a conversation worth having.
The fact that it's rare here doesn't make it experimental. It makes it unavailable everywhere else.
What Pancafit Treats: Posture, Scoliosis, Chronic Tension & More
Conditions that respond well to Pancafit
Posture correction
Rounded shoulders, forward head posture, and a hunched back aren't just cosmetic concerns. They create chronic load on the spine, compress the chest, and generate tension headaches and upper back pain. Pancafit works on the anterior chain — the muscles running down the front of the body — that pull the skeleton forward. Releasing and re-lengthening that chain is how posture actually changes.
Scoliosis management
Pancafit doesn't claim to eliminate scoliosis, but it is one of the few methods with a structured approach to reducing the functional component of spinal curvature — the part driven by muscular imbalance and compensation rather than fixed bone structure. Sessions are adapted to the direction and degree of each patient's curve.
Chronic tension and back pain
If you've had persistent lower back pain, mid-back tightness, or tension that never fully releases, the cause is often a restricted fascial chain that standard massage and exercise don't reach. Pancafit addresses the full length of that restriction, not just the spot that hurts.
Mobility and flexibility
For athletes and active patients who have hit a ceiling on their mobility work, Pancafit often breaks through it. The method reaches restrictions that foam rolling and static stretching miss entirely.
Who Is Pancafit For?
Pancafit works best for patients who are dealing with something structural — not a fresh acute injury, but a pattern that has built up over time. You've probably compensated around it for years.
- You've been told your posture is the problem but no one has given you a method that actually changes it
- You have scoliosis and want an active approach beyond monitoring
- You carry chronic tension in your neck, shoulders, or back that massage relieves temporarily but never resolves
It's not for everyone. If you're in acute pain from a recent injury, we'd start with a different approach first. But if the problem is chronic and structural, Pancafit is worth a serious look.

Questions I hear first about Pancafit
What is Pancafit and how does it work? Pancafit is a postural re-education method developed in Italy. It uses a specialized stretching table to place the body in sustained positions that address the full muscular and fascial chain — not just isolated muscles. The goal is to release the deep restrictions that cause chronic postural problems, back pain, and limited mobility. It's a clinical method, not a spa service, and it's offered here within a licensed physical therapy practice.
Is Pancafit the same as stretching or yoga? No. Both yoga and passive stretching work on individual muscles or muscle groups. Pancafit works on the entire posterior and anterior chains simultaneously, using the table to sustain precise positions your body can't hold on its own. The depth of the release is different, and so are the results — particularly for patients who have been stretching consistently without lasting improvement.
Do I need a referral or prior physical therapy experience to try Pancafit? No referral needed. No prior PT experience required. I'll assess whether Pancafit is appropriate for your specific situation on your first visit. If something else needs to come first, I'll tell you directly.
